Online Classes
Around the world different schools have been using new and advanced technology to teach their students. Some use online classrooms, which could have 'pros' and 'cons,' depending on the situation. Some may benefit and some will fail. These virtual schools are used by catching up in credits or taking a class that is not offered somewhere else or on campus. Compared to traditional schools, virtual schools and online classes are better because it gives you better opportunities to do better and well and to catch up. In some cases you might enjoy online classes better.
One reason I would say that virtual schools and online classrooms are better is that you may be offered a wider variety of courses and classes to choose from. Some of these classes will not always be available to you on campus. For example, I am trying to take a third year of American Sign Language, and it could be offered as an online class. Another example is that my older brother and sister are signing up for classes and the classes they are taking are only offered online. These could benefit you in some other ways.
Another reason you could do better in an online class is because it's an easier and more efficient access for education. It's there at a touch of a button, you could stay home and do your work. You wouldn't have to get up and drive to school because you could get your work done in your bed. You could get as much work or even more in that same amount of time. Adding to that, you could go at your own pace. You would be able to take long breaks, and you will be able to grind out a lot of work. Even when you have other leisure activities or work, you are able to come back to your work and finish. I know many people procrastinate such as myself. but thee classes could help you be giving you the option to come back. But looking at the classes, there could be many drawbacks from it.
although some may think differently, that the fact that there is no physical non-verbal nor verbal contact with the teacher proves that you won't be able to receive all the help you may need to succeed. Yes you may say, you could search online for the answers and help, but you aren't creating a bond or relation that some people think necessary for you with a teacher to accomplish your work. You shouldn't cheat yourself. Teacher are there for a reason, to ask if you could get help. But fi you take an online class, you will not be accompanied by that help. Plus, what if you don't have usage of some of the materials needed. You will get stuck and may struggle.
Overall, there are ups and downs to these classes. You might think they are good, and some may think it is a horrible idea. It's hard for me to agree on or disagree because of the different view points on both. I feel that they are the same and different in their ways, but going at your own pace for online classes is better than cramming your brain with so much information.
