Purpose:
In the article, "With Concussion Risk In Soccer, Headers May Kick It Up A Notch," Jessica Boddy argues that headers may lead to concussion but also heading the ball could lead to long term symptoms of concussions. The issue affects those who play soccer and families that have any who play soccer or any form of soccer. This issue matters because nobody wants to have someone in their life injured or have a concussion which makes them not eligible to play the sport they loved. I agree with her argument because my dad played soccer and its not fun being injured, and that goes with all the sports, but just being on the court or field its fun. I relate to this topic because I play sports and hearing other who had a concussion from playing soccer and its sucks sand its not fun at all. I recommend just to try and bc safe with all your sports that you play whether it be a small injury or severe will all affect us latter on in our lives.
